Regency Bowfronted Sideboard now in situ in a Classical Continental Dining Room.
Some existing clients from outside Bristol contacted David Harvey from Harvey's Antiques of Witney in Oxfordshire about a sideboard they had inherited from a parent. It was in Scotland and they had no space for it in their home so Harvey's arranged for it to be delivered to them.
After a thundering good wax up it was photographed and put on display where it attracted the interest from a new client who proceeded to buy it online and Harvey's arranged the transport of it to the new home on the continent. The photograph shows the pretty Regency Mahogany and Inlaid Bowfronted Sideboard now in situ in a classical continental dining room.

Victorian Pine Wall Cabinet off to be a star at Pinewood Studios.
A sale already today for Hawthornes Antiques......and it's off to be a film star albeit as an extra.
This Victorian Pine Wall Cabinet has been purchased by the props department at Pinewood Studios.....from now on though, any period dramas we watch are going to be studied to try and find it in the background.

Mid Victorian Decorative Ebonised Plinth takes pride of place in customres home.
We (Hawthornes Antiques) recently supplied an ebonised plinth to Martin, a first time customer.
He already had the artwork and was looking for an appropriate stand to display it upon. Fortunately he found just the thing within our Antiques Atlas listing. He made contact, the deal was done and not long after the plinth was on it's way from Birmingham to it's new life in Cornwall.
It's always nice when clients forward an image of their new purchase in use and this stand works perfectly within Martin's collection.
