Edwardian Hexagonal Silver Taper Chamberstick
A very nice, simply styled small silver chamberstick of hexagonal form, with baluster stem and reeded bands finishing with a hexagonal sconce. A curved handle with thumb rest and feather detailing to the top. Hallmarked for London 1904, makers William Hutton & Sons Ltd.
It measures 10.2cm (4") across the diagonal, 9cm (3 1/2") side to side and 11.5cm (4 1/2") including the handle. It is 5cm (2") high and weighs 101g / 3.3ozt. The nozzle opening could take a slim candle or taper measuring 6mm diameter.
