Pair Of Georgian Coffee Pots
Harlequin pair of early Georgian coffee pots.
Genuine items showing signs of original, every day use, there are a number minor knocks and dings.
There is a little distortion to the bases, all of which I suggest adds the the charm.
They are seam soldered & copper riveted.
They are both sound with hinges working well.
Lovely, elegant spouts, one having a minor dent as shown.
They have not been polished however there is no corrosion so they would indeed polish up well.
This has not been done as it is very much a matter of choice whether you like them polished or not.
Coffee pots like this were widely used during Georgian times in taverns, coffee houses and estate houses.
Very collectible. Rare to find one let alone two!
