A fine pair of pewter quart tankards with pouring spouts, these show the a few signs of use but are generally in excellent condition with a lovely old external colour. They are marked as made by ‘James Yates’ whose factory flourished in the late 19th cent. Sizes: 6”(15cms) high, 4 ¾ “(12cms) diameter at the base. Date circa 1880 I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal.
