A magnificent large pair of brass & copper Chinese style planters or jardinières dating from circa 1920s/1930s. The planters stand on embossed copper and brass bases and have twin carry handles with lions heads to the sides. The main body is in copper with applied brass Chinese geometric motifs and three creatures to the inside. Of seamed and riveted construction with wonderful patina, these are really good quality attractive planters.
