Large Swedish lantern from the 19th Century. Made from Pine and Birch. All glass is present, including glass to the base. The glass is original and has ripples and bubbles in the hand produced glass, possibly one piece of glass has been replaced at some point, but this piece has ripples and bubbles and would be been done some time ago.

Distressed over all, with wear and patination.

The front door opens to allow access to the candle. Venting hole in the top is covered by a metal cover. Original chain to the top allows the lantern to be carried or hung up.
