Mother Of Pearl Vanity Set Pearl Wedding Gift
A beautiful unused vintage Japanese vanity set in excellent condition. The compact mirror and lipstick holder are decorated with mother of pearl. The lid of the compact is embellished with a sailing junk. The compact is ideal for all loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or display collectible.
The whole set is protected with a layer of lacquer which means it will not need to be cleaned. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.
The original display case, pouch, puff and sifter are present.
The base of the compact is smooth gold tone.
The lipstick holder will hold lipstick tubes measuring 12 mm diameter. The lipstick mechanism works perfectly.
The original presentation case is in very good condition. The case is decorated with a synthetic cover made to look like snake skin. The interior lid is lined with pale pink silk. The interior base is fitted with crimson velvet over custom made recesses.
