Vintage Lipstick Holder Compact Mirror Set 1970s
A hard to find vintage Stratton vanity set in superb unused condition!
The stylish black and gold presentation case contains the original Stratton lipstick holder/mirror and powder compact.
The lids of both items have the appearance of burnished gold.
This delightful decoration is embellished with smooth gold tone dog-roses framed by foliage.
The mirrors of both items give good and accurate reflections.
Both accessories are signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.
All clasps and hinges work perfectly.
The original black felt pouch, signed puff, instruction leaflet, velour edged sifter and lipstick instruction / dummy tube are present.
The gilded brass is protected by a coat of lacquer and so this set will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.
The interior base of the presentation box is fitted with pristine yellow fabric covering custom made recesses.
The lid of the presentation box is signed Stratton.
The compact measures 3 inches diameter & weighs 95.8 grams.
The Lipview (lipstick holder /mirror) will hold any size of lipstick.
Measures 2 1/2 inches long & weighs 19.2 grams.
This Stratton Convertible compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 58-67mm diameter.
