Stunning early 19th.c. Northern European Biedermeier style chest of drawers c.1830. Typically for biedermier the design here is all about the timber with fabulous matching flame mahogany veneers arranged symetrically on the top and drawer fronts to spectacular effect. The applied drawer front mouldings are an unusual detail and may be a concession to the English taste. Below the top right drawer is an original retailer’s label from Richard Masters of Cheltenham. With oak drawer linings and original European type locks. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
