Very elegant French cherrywood two drawer commode or chest of drawers, circa 1920.

Wonderful colour to the cherrywood which has been beeswax polished to give it a lovely mellow glow.

Serpentine front and well carved drawers with panelled sides and brass mounts.

Good solid condition and decorative, so it can give useful storage or will stand well in a living room too.

Measuring:

34 inches or 86.5 cm high

37 1/2 inches or 95 cm wide

18 1/4 inches 46.5 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
