Very large impressive William IV mahogany chest of drawers in good original condition, dating from around the 1840 period. It has an unusual stepped up platform top section, with a slanted top edge outside of that. The flame mahogany drawers are graduated in depth, with original bun handles, fine dovetails & locks. This chest also has strong looking curved corner sections & sits on a plinth base with flat bun feet below. This piece would make quite a statement in the bedroom.
