George III mahogany secretaire bookcase

This George III mahogany secretaire bookcase was made circa 1800 and would have been commissioned for an important home.

The base is fitted a full width secretaire drawer that drops down to reveal a black tooled leather writing surface that is edged with stunning kingwood which is as stunning as it was when it was first laid.
