An important French Deux Corps or Bookcase, an original piece from the Empire period. Made from Oak and very stylish with its brass caps and carved decoration. The top has shelving and key is present. The base has 4 drawers that all run smoothly. The back is lovely all hand adzed out.
We have lightly bleached this for a stylish look and to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. In excellent original condition for the home.
