Classic late 19th.c. military campaign chest c.1880. In solid camphorwood, a fragrant and pest resistant timber often used in campaign antique furniture as it helped protect the contents during travel in foreign climes. Brass bindings and corners, later brass carry handles and a single drawer to the interior. Good solid condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
