A large early Zulu war club “Knop Kerrie I would date this from 1860 it has a flared at the grip and has a band of typical Zulu wire work which is at the point of perfect balance This is a heavy fighting kerrie with a large heavy head there is a split to the head only to the surface common in these clubs a good example of an early Zulu weapon
