Edward VII Rifle Officers sword by Edward Smith Sword Rifles %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Edward VII Rifle Officers sword in its steel scabbard and marked as by Edward Smith, 139 Ebury St, SW (London). Silver wire bound shagreen grip and pierced gothic hilt with Rifle Bugle crest. Skim, single edged blade with original owners' initials etched in script. Acid etched blade with Edward VII crown and cipher and Rifles cipher to reverse side. Blade has most of its original polish. In good condition overall but some wear to the exterior plating of sword.

Approximately 100cm overall and blade 82cm.
