Treat yourselves to a genuine period telephone for your home. It has survived the 1930s depression and world war 2 and all the highs and lows the world could throw at it. Use a piece of British history as your everyday telephone.
This is a wonderful example of a GPO wooden wall telephone. I have had it stripped and varnished to show off the wonderful solid mahogany. There is a lot of work in restoring one of these early telephones to this standard and I pay for the wooden parts to be restored. As you can see it looks wonderful and has also been wired up to work on the modern system and still retaining the original parts both inside and out. The only exception is an electronic microphone and a quality plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket fitting. If you buy form me you will get my life time of ownership guarantee which will give you piece of mind knowing if any of this 1930s technology breaks down it will be fixed at only postage costs or if brought round nothing at all. Please note this has an original GPO No10 enamel faced dial in wonderful condition. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
