1897 pattern Edward VII Infantry Officers sword
1897 pattern Edward VII Infantry Officers sword in its leather field scabbard and with leather frog. Pierced guard with Edward VII crown and silver wire bound shagreen grip. Acid etched, single edged blade which is marked as by Hawkes and Co, Piccadilly, London. Marked on back strap as London made and numbered 5622. General wear overall and with some rust staining to blade.
Approximately 100cm overall and blade length 83cm.
