A stunning looking, large Victorian four fold screen in woven tapestry depicting very attractive country scenes in detail. The condition of the tapestry is excellent, the materiel at the base of the screen has some wear and a little discoloration in places (see pictures), the brown materiel on the back is a replacement. Sizes: Each fold: 24”(61cms) wide. Total width: 96”(244cms). Total height: 72”(183cms). Total depth closed: 4”(10cms). Date circa 1870. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
