Victorian Pie Crust Coffee Table, c.1900

This is an antique, Victorian, pie crust table dating to c.1900.
The well figured, quarter veneered, flame mahogany displays a deep and lustrous sheen in tones of russet browns. The top sits within a bold, 'pie crust' gallery and provides a stable platform ideal for serving tea or coffee.
Raised on classic cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, the knees are shaped with carved scroll detail and foliate pendant beneath a plain apron.
The classic proportions, deep tones, lustrous finish and authentic patina of this piece all add up to make this modest little table a cut above the norm.
Solid joints and a desirable finish, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.

Max Width 61cm (24'')
Max Depth 61cm (24'')
