Victorian Mahogany Writing Table
Circa 1870. Victorian mahogany writing table with gilt-tooled burgundy writing surface. The rectangular top with cross-banded figured Spanish mahogany, gilt tooled burgundy leather writing surface and a rounded fore-edges over a central frieze drawer and flanked by a double drawer and 2 short cock-beaded drawers all with mahogany drawer linings and turned knobs. Supported on tapering turned legs above original brass caps and castors.
