A handsome and impressive mid Victorian settee. Made from solid walnut timber and decorated with deep carved detailing to the arms and legs , with lighter carving to the top back rail. The walnut timber has developed a rich patina and colour and the frame is strong and sturdy. The settee has a lovely sweeping shape to it and is large enough to easily seat three people. The upholstery is in very good serviceable condition. The whole thing stands on its original Victorian castors.
