An early 20th century sofa by Portman Upholstery. This shapely sofa is nearly identical to a Howard & Sons Bridgewater. Having a sprung seat with original horsehair, down feather filled back and seat cushions, offering ultimate comfort. The whole raised on upholstered tapered legs with brass castors. Having a beautiful vintage quilted loose cover in Colefax and Fowler fabric. Super country house condition throughout. English, Circa 1930.
