Very rare vintage compacts 1940s
A rare Easterling compact mirror with a romantic couple just about to kiss. What a romantic gift!
The rural scene is shown in fine detail & below the couple the word 'Always'. I have never seen this compact before & I am delighted that it has the original sifter & signed puff. They are in excellent condition. The case is signed 'EASTERLING OF BOSTON MADE IN U.S.A.' All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a excellent reflection - it has a few age related marks on the mirror which in no way detract from this rare compact. The base is smooth goldtone & has two small dings on it.
This vintage compact measures almost 4" & weighs 84.9 grams.
