Tall Louis Philippe marble top chest of drawers c.1840. White marble top with good moulded edge over seven drawers. Slim top drawer with a moulded front continued on the sides of the cabinet. Flame mahogany veneers laid in a dramatic symmetrical pattern across the larger drawer fronts. Original brass escutcheon plates and oak drawer linings. Moulded apron raised on the original turned front feet. Good condition and original colour, faded over time. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
