An unusually small George 111 period oak chest or coffer with a panelled front that has an inlaid motif in the centre. This fine little chest stands on its original shaped bracket feet and originally came from the West country. The condition throughout is excellent. Sizes: 21”(53cms) wide, 11 ½ “(29cms) deep, 17”(43cms) high. Date circa 1800. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal.
