An early 18th.Century solid oak mule chest or coffer. The 4 panelled top opens to reveal a large storage area and side candle box with original lock and hinges. The front having 3 fielded panels above 2 drawers which have replaced antique handles with working locks & keys. The stiles have moulded detail and the legs are joined by a shaped frieze. In good ready to use condition with a few signs of wear associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…27.5''/ 70cm. Width…50''/ 127cm. Depth…21''/ 53.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £70.
