An excellent set of six, late 18th cent, rush seated ladderback dining chairs. These consist of five single chairs and one armchair, they all have their fine original colour and polished surface. They are made in elm and ash and are in excellent strong condition. Sizes: Single chairs: 18"(46cms) wide, 15"(39ms) deep, 35"(89cms) high. Armchair: 22"(56cms) wide, 16"(40cms) deep, 38"(99cms) high. Seat height: 18"(46cms). Date circa 1790. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal. In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
