A fine quality set of four Regency period dining chairs in a dense Cuban mahogany, The chairs have a lovely shaped back, with a lift out seat, standing on square tapered legs with supporting stretchers, a very comfortable seat.
This model of chair was designed and made in Whitehaven in Cumbria around 1820, they are in good condition, the seats are quite usable, with a seating height of 46cm.
