Set of eight Mahogany chairs on Cabriole leg
An impressive set of eight mahogany dining chairs, including the ever popular carver chairs. This set from the early 1900s is waiting to go through our workshops for full restoration and reupholstery and will be available when finished in your own choice of fabric if required. They would go really well with the dining table that we have just finished and that is available in our show rooms.
This set with the cabriole leg will look great when finished and the Chippendale influenced design on the backs adds to the appeal. It is worth noting that the legs have the turned stretchers between them to give good rigidity to the chair frames. All in all a good set of chairs with a nicely detailed splat in the backs that require almost no restoration other then the dull French polish which, as stated, will be fully re done for the new owner. The seats could also be upholstered in your own choice of fabric at this stage, if you would like that done, they are however in good condition at the moment. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
