Antique quality set of 4 Victorian 19C central splat mahogany dining chairs.

A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.

Lovely colour, age, patina and charm.

Heavy weight chairs, which are solid and strong with no loose joints.

The seats have recently been reupholstered in a natural, light cream/oatmeal coloured fabric.

Overall maximum dimensions

44cmW x 52cmD x 88cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historic woodworm holes in the seat rails, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. There is evidence of restoration and refinishing as one might expect.
