Antique set of 6 Georgian (or possibly early Victorian) 19C elm (similar to oak) dining chairs.

A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.

Lovely colour, with age, patina and charm.

Solid and heavy, with no loose joints.

42cmW x 43cmD x 87cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. The chairs have had historic repairs as one would expect. Historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. There is some cracking to the seats, but all is well glued and stable.
