Antique set of 4 Victorian 19C mahogany balloon back dining chairs.

A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.

Lovely light colour, age, patina and charm.

Very heavy weight chairs, which are solid and strong with no loose joints.

The seats are upholstered in a red leatherette. The upholstery is not new and has wear and marks. We would be more than pleased to recover the chairs in any fabric/gimp combination supplied by the customer for £150.

Overall maximum dimensions

49cmW x 59cmD x 88cmH (42cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historical structural repairs, but these all strong and good now.
