Large Antique Copper Jug.
This hand made jug is crafted from very heavy gauge copper. The bulbus body sits on a circular base & has a generous handle. The rim is reinforced with a second strip of copper as is the base. This provides stability & strength. The interior has been plated with a silver metal, presumably to protect the contents.
The jug has hand stitching in brass as can be seen in photo.
Condition, unpolished, original, a few dents as can be expected.
Size height to top 16", width including handle 14", bulbus body width 10", diameter at top 6".
