Unrestored 1853 pattern British Army Cavalry sword. Marked on the hilt RWYC, which I take as Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry . Blade marked Reeves on backstrap, along with crown and marks on blade. Owner put a W on the leather hilt. Fullered blade 35 inchers long, iron hilt with leather grip all solid, total sword length 41 inches.Flap missing.
