19th century 5th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers Sword in leather scabbard. Has a copper wire bound shagreen grip. Plated hilt with Rifles Bugle logo and with original plated leather sword knot. Acid etched broad blade with trophies of arms, Bugle & VR. Blade has most of its original polish and marked as by Firmin & Sons Ltd, 153 Strand, London. Plating worn on inside edge of grip but otherwise in good condition.

Approximately 98cm overall and blade length 83cm.
