An eye-catching vintage Stratton powder compact which is decorated with a gilded peacock and vibrant red enamel.There isn't any loss of gilding, enamel or design.

Gleaming clean!

No traces of powder.

This compact has not been used with face powder.

The gilded brass is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly.

The base of the compact is signed Stratton ENGLAND.

Measures 7.5 cm diameter. Weighs 73.1 grams.

The original box, pouch, puff, sifter, spacer ring, leaflet and inspection docket are present.

This Stratton Mini-Convertible powder compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
