Peninsular War British Heavy Cavalry Sword
Rare British 1796 Heavy Cavalry Troopers Sword from the Napoleonic Peninsular wars. In uncleaned condition, leather and wood hilt with a couple of worm holes, still has the langets in place, often cut off.Spear point, looks like a makers mark on the blade. Can find no regiment marks.
