A rare bayonet for the Peabody martini rifle m 1874. Leather grips. Secured by steel rivets pommel and cross guard steel. Heavy yataghan blade 575 mm overall length 715 mm. Rifle Turkish Peabody martini. Shows use and age but a rare bayonet . Theses were made for use by NCO s line infantry caried a socket bayonet.
