Pair of Regency Beech Stools Attrib. William Trotter
Circa 1815, rare pair of regency grain painted beech stools, attributed to William Trotter of Edinburgh. With green silk button seats raised on x-form supports with carved flower heads at intersections and a cross stretcher beneath. The legs in a paw foot and both stools have been grain painted to simulate rosewood, and were part of the contents of Kirkton House, Scotland.
