Antique Victorian Mahogany Duet Piano Stool
A beautiful and very well made antique Victorian mahogany duet piano stool. This was made in England, it dates from the 1890-1900 period.
The quality is excellent this has a gorgeous and very useful design. Designed for duets at a piano, this is very useful as a storage bench for an entry way, window seat or even at the foot of a bed. The frame is beautifully constructed, with lovely turned legs and a stretchered base. The front and back are finished identically, so it can be used as a free standing item. The upholstered seat lifts up to reveal a useful storage compartment.
We have had this re-polished and the seat has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.

Depth – 14 inches , 36 cm
Height – 24 inches , 61 cm
