Circa 1830, pair of Edinburgh copper and steel street lamps, also known as Lord Provost lamps (due to their shape). Surmounted by a finial above a downward shaped conical section with open base for venting the heat from the lamp. With glass tapering down (one is hinged) and beneath they have 4 scrolling metal brackets. They have recently been cleaned and need re-wiring.
