We are pleased to offer for sale this pair of arched brass 7 Light Church Benediction Candelabra, which were the property of a convent in Ireland. They each have a heavy, stepped circular base, above which are several knops, then a larger one from which emanates a tubular column which leads to the centre of the tubular arch. The arch is ornamented underneath with curlicues. The seven sconces have a half moon shaped edge to the drip pan, and both unscrew for ease of cleaning.

Benediction candelabra were used when there was a blessing to be given, primarily in the Roman Catholic faith.. These are very fine quality and would grace any church, chapel or home. They are approximately 100 years old.
