Oak Gothic Revival Ecclesiastic Church Lectern
Sold for Restoration / Improvement
A Good Antique Oak Ecclesiastic Lectern
19th century, Victorian.
Very nicely designed with a heavy, stepped base and central column with carved trefoil designs.
The top is in pieces but fits together, as shown. It requires a permanent repair and therefore the piece is being sold for light restoration. It is complete except for one small side panel, however, the other corresponding panel is there and this could be used as a template to fashion the missing piece.
Removed from a property around a year ago, it requires a clean and repolish etc but has clear potential to look stunning when completed.
Dimensions to follow. Email or call for any further information on this item. We give great attention to each and every item we select and offer for sale, priding ourselves on the accuracy of our descriptions and research. We are very happy to provide complete and exacting condition reports (together with further photographs, where necessary) and encourage buyers to request this information prior to purchase.
Accepted payment methods are via paypal, bank transfer, personal cheque or cash.
Viewing of any item in person, prior to purchase, is always welcomed by appointment.
