For sale today we have this extremely rare Newlyn School Arts and Crafts Copper Chamberstick by Obed Nicholls. The well of the the chamberstick features an extremely well executed design of 2 opposing grotesque Sea Dragons/ Serpents with pointed tails. The sconce is further decorated with a ring of fish. No stamped mark (an early example), the base of the piece has a faintly incised and highly desirable Obed Nicholls signature. A larger sized chamberstick at 25cm x 14cm.
