Mid 17th century Cavalry Walloon Broadsword. Has an iron basket guard with pierced knuckle guard panels and hoop thumb hold. Twisted wire grip with defence straps screwed to pommel. Tapering double edged engraved blade with crowned arsenal mark at forte. In good solid condition overall for its age. With some age wear.

Approximately 103cm overall and blade 88cm.
