This is a Japanese Tansu of the Meji period in a combination of Japanese forest woods, possibly Keyaki and is in an untouched condition. The Tansu has hand cut iron hardware and carrying handles. This Tansu could be utilised in a variety of settings being an unusual and iconic item.
