Superb quality mid 19th.c. mahogany four door inverted breakfront library bookcase c.1845. Very nearly nine feet long with a tall glazed top divided into four sections with three adjustable shelves to each (depth 11″ / 8½”). Over a deeper blind door cupboard base with a single adjustable shelf to each section. Simple uncluttered design highlighting the particularly well figured flame mahogany veneers across the front. Ogee moulded cornice, crossbanded edge to the waist and raised on a moulded plinth. Brass door trim to the upper section and original Brahma patent locks. Solid mahogany groundwork to the doors and solid mahogany sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
Please note for delivery the top separates into three sections plus the cornice but the cupboard base is one piece.
