A substantial 19th century walnut open bookcase
This wonderful piece of English furniture is veneered in a beautiful burr walnut.

- With two adjustable shelves to either side, a simple wooden peg system allows the shelves to be set at the required height with ease.
- Attractively carved mounting bracket to both the top and bottom of the three structural columns.
- Four beautiful matched burr walnut veneer panels to the top.
- Plinth base.
- Planked back.
- On castors for easy movement.

A wonderful quality bookcase that is structurally solid, it will fill a decent wall space in a smart office or in a good size room within a home.

In very good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
There are a few historic small chips to the veneer at the corner edges on each side, these have long been polished in and are unobtrusive.
