A very interesting and decorative travelling trunk of unusual shape. The trunk is made of either mahogany or teak and has been bound with iron at the edges for extra strength, and on each side has two sets of carrying handles. This type of trunk was often colonial made for specific customers and items and this might explain the unusual shape. The trunk is in good condition, it has a lot of knocks as one would expect of this type of item and this has given it a great patina. The trunk is the perfect size for a large central coffee table and one of a kind in great untouched condition. C.1900.

Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf. Deliveries can be organised all over the world so please do ask wherever you are.
